Jennifer’s Decadent Easy Fudge

14            ounces   sweetened condensed milk
  3               cups  Semisweet chocolate
  1               dash  Salt
  1 1/2      teaspoons  Vanilla

In heavy saucepan, over low heat, melt chips with Condensed milk and salt.  Remove from heat.  Stir in 1 cup chopped nuts (optional) and vanilla.  Spread evenly in a foil-lined 8 or 9″ square pan.  Chill 2 hours or until firm.  Turn fudge onto cutting board; peel off foil and cut into squares.  Store loosely covered at room temperature.

Microwave Directions:  In a 1-quart glass measure with handle, combine chips with condensed milk and salt.  Cook on high (100% power) for up to 3 minutes or until chips melt, stirring after each 30 seconds after first minute..  Stir in remaining ingredients.  Proceed as above.

Makes about 2 pounds.
